My brother got me a $20 gift certificate to a local comic shop for my birthday. Problem is, it's not the shop I have all my subscriptions at. So I was thinking I'd pick up a trade or novel for something I've never read. Any suggestions? I'm a huge X-Men fan, though only recently got back in. I've read Joss Whedon's Astonishing and all the Messiah series. Thoughts? Also, after last night's Castle I'm tempted to pick up Deadly Storm for novelty sake. Thoughts?
I haven’t read Deadly Storm yet, but with Bendis and Kelly Sue on it, I know it’ll be great. Also, classic Deadpool trades are great. I would use it for something kinda off the wall and very different from what you normally read. Maybe Casanova?
