The science of creating a HULK recap page from editor Nate Cosby:

HULK #26 RECAP. So I wanted to touch on everything you needed to know before the real Page 1 of the comic. And I wanted to use dialogue to do it, rather than captions. So I picked touchstones from last issue (Steve Rogers & Ross’ heart-to-heart, Banner’s “I’m the shit & you ain’t” moment, Ross getting informed of his new life mission, the apparent death of Iron Man) and tweaked Jeff Parker’s dialogue juuuuuuust a little, to give the page a more cohesive narrative. Gave all this info to the MEGA-talented Irene Y. Lee to put together, and there’s your HULK #26 recap. (and I should note, when you’re working with Gabriel Hardman/Bettie Breitweiser art, it ain’t hard to make a page look good)
