I just wanna sit on Thanos’ lap and rub his weird chin and have him tell me stories of being a cosmic badass and jerk and just all-around awesome bro and he’d give me presents of, like, chunks of dead worlds. Basically, he’d be evil Santa and I’d be a child. What just happened?
Go see Marvel’s The Avengers again!

Thanos Quest Thanos: The Final Threat Avengers Assemble #7 Silver Surfer: The Rebirth of Thanos The Infinity Gauntlet

These comics? Some of my all-time favorites. I reread Thanos Quest and Infinity Gauntlet pretty often. I could probably talk for a good hour or more about Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos Quest and Infinity War and Infinity Crusade and Warlock and the Infinity Watch and…I’m gonna stop now.

This September, get a heaping helping of Thanos on the Marvel Comics app and at your local comic shop with Thanos Quest #1, Thanos: The Final Threat #1 and Avengers Assemble #7!

The cover to Thanos Quest #1 (topmost image) is actually concept art by Andy Park for Marvel’s The Avengers film!

We know you’re curious about Thanos after seeing him in Marvel’s The Avengers or in Avengers Assemble. So if you’re going to pick up these books, as well as the classic Infinity Gauntlet and Silver Surfer: Rebirth of Thanos collections, here’s a handy reading order:

Thanos: The Final Threat —-> Silver Surfer: Rebirth of Thanos —-> Thanos Quest —-> Infinity Gauntlet

There’s plenty more, but those are great starting points!

THE LOKI CATS SHIRT IS MY FAVORITE. I needs it. And that Infinity Gauntlet jam. But, man, that Loki shirt makes me say mmmmmmmmmm.

Who would win in a fight: Galactus or Thanos?

ryanmholt-deactivated20120406

Good question! It depends on the circumstances, really. Thanos trounced Galactus and all the other cosmic beings in INFINITY GAUNTLET #5. But he had the Gauntlet. And was super extra crazyawesomeevilmad. Thanos is also super crafty and smart, so he probably has numerous anti-Galactus plans.

That said, I’m gonna go with Galacuts. He’s Galactus, ya know? ‘Nuff said.

I don’t know what this is from. Doesn’t matter, really. It reminds me of that scene in INFINITY GAUNTLET #4 when Thanos puts a clear cube around Cyclops and Scott can’t break through with his optic blasts and he’s freaking out and the other heroes are dying and then Captain America tries to save him by breaking through the cube, but he can’t and then Cyclops dies and then Cap stands up to Thanos and everyone dies. When I was 11, that was just the most awesome and awful comic I’d ever read.

Read INFINITY GAUNTLET.
