Agent M here with a look at the stacks of comics & collections we get here at Marvel HQ.

It’s Friday, January 18, 2013 and we got our stacks today. They actually arrived before lunch. It was fantastic! The single issues in the photo will hit comic shops as well as the Marvel digital comics store & app on January 23. It’s a reasonably sized stack FULL of books we’re all way excited to dig into. The collections will be out across a number of weeks, I believe. This Week in Marvel cohost Ben Morse and I weren’t sure which was more exciting—the Doctor Strange Marvel Masterwork or the Mutant Massacre reprint!

And here’s the stack of comics out Wednesday, January 9 if you missed ‘em!

Which of the issues in the photos are you most excited to read?

Agent M back again with another look at the stack of comics & collections we get here at Marvel HQ. Because this is a shortened holiday week here in the states, we actually got our stacks on Tuesday instead of Friday. That means we got next week’s comics before this week’s even came out! Pretty neat, you guys. These stacks are what we got on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. The single issues in the photo will be out Wednesday, November 28 in comic shops and on the Marvel digital comics store & app. The collections will be out across a number of weeks, I believe.

So this happened yesterday. Can I just say how awesome Michael K. Williams is? He’s awesome. SUPER-nice dude, funny and friendly and just excited about life and everything. We hung out for two hours and it was a blast. I can’t wait for you guys to hear the podcast we recorded with MKW. It was rad.
via marvelentertainment:

Today at Marvel HQ in NYC, we had a visit from Michael K. Williams—he plays Omar Little on The Wire and Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire.
We gave him a tour of the headquarters, showed him how comics are made, recorded a Marvel Augmented Reality video with him and interviewed him for our This Week in Marvel podcast. And all through that, he remained friendly, funny and humble.
More photos and the podcast soon!

I took this photo with my iPad. I intentionally left Deadpool’s hand holding an uzi in the shot. It just felt…right.

When we give the occasional tour of Marvel HQ to someone we’re interviewing for an episode of This Week in Marvel, John Cerilli’s office is always a fun stop. His office is like a mini Marvel library…with toys…and candy.

Please say hello to my newest employee, Mr. Blake Garris. Blake has taken the position of Associate Producer, Editorial Content and Programming for Marvel Digital Media Group, which was vacated by that villainous Harry Go.
Blake was a freelance writer for me, but really stood out among all the candidates for the job due to his skills, experience, Marvel knowledge and southern hospitality. Today’s his first day and he brought me a box of Maurice’s Gourmet BBQ Sauce bottles.
Perfect start to a career at Marvel, Blake. We hope you survive the experience.

My assistant editor Marc “Strommy” Strom with Jen, Marvel’s director of animation marketing, who’s dressed up as Squirrel Girl for Halloween.
Ya see, Strommy hates and fears squirrels. Like, a lot. His disgust in this photo is palpable. So lovely.
They’re in our west coast office, so I’m thankful for Marvel animation’s Todd Casey who can show me such wonders.
