Remember that time I visited the set of Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World and played with Mjolnir? This photo was taken in the props department, where all the many weapons used in the film were stored. GIANT guns and HUGE hammers and MASSIVE swords and all kinds of rad weapons. Fun stuff. I’ll have more info from my set visit in time, but I don’t know that I’ll ever get tired of going on to the sets of our movies or shows and seeing all the amazing people work to turn our comic book characters and ideas into living, breathing reality. So neat.
Remembering that time I visited the set of The Wolverine and got to pop the Wolverine claws with Hugh Jackman. Hot damn, that was awesome. Hugh’s the real deal, folks. Super nice, super cool.
Me and WWE superstar Big E Langston. He and WWE’s Renee Young stopped by Marvel HQ during WrestleMania 29 week. I only got to speak with Renee a little bit, but chatted with Big E a bunch. I’ve been watching him on NXT a while and it’s cool that now he’s on both NXT and the main WWE shows. A few things:
1. Big E’s one helluva nice and friendly dude. No pretense, no weirdness, just a dude you could hang out and talk comics with.
2. Big E’s Twitter is probably my favorite of all wrestlers. He’s funny, smart, weird and engaging.
3. Big E loves Marvel. I mean, that’s not strange—so many wrestlers are also comic fans—but it’s still pretty rad.
Me holding a Mjolnir prop replica (Ultimate version of the hammer, IIRC) in our Thor conference room at Marvel HQ in NYC. There are a few “do not touch” signs in the room, but I was in there and Ray, one of the people in charge of all our cool office swag said it was cool for me to hold it and take a photo with it. Kinda totally awesome.
I met Lil Bub, the amazing cat you’ve probably seen on the Internet. She’s sweet and soft and happy and so loved it isn’t even funny. I blogged about bringing her to Marvel HQ and getting her into Savage Wolverine #1 on Marvel.com.
Me, Hugh Jackman and The Wolverine director Jim Mangold after our The Wolverine Live chat from the set of the film in Sydney, Australia. These guys are ridiculously great.
You can rewatch the chat at youtube.com/thewolverinemovie.
It’s Lorraine Cink, host of Marvel’s web show The Watcher, and I inside Marvel’s skybox at New York Comic Con. More updates coming!

I gots me a brand new Twitter avatar! The new image, at top, was drawn by the INSANELY TALENTED David Lopez (New Mutants, X-Men, etc.) and I wanted to share it here.
I also wanted to post all my previous avatars drawn by a quartet of truly amazing artists because…look at them. SO COOL. They were drawn by David Lafuente, Chris Samnee, Dennis Calero and MIke Oeming. I also included the sketches/concepts that David Lopez drew in coming up with the final pick. I would choose ALL of them if I could.
ALSO: David Lopez is getting married this weekend, so please wish him well! He’s @davizlopez on twitter!
Nelson Ribeiro, Marvel’s Trades Janitor, turned me into M.O.D.O.T. and it’s pretty perfect. Thanks, Nelson!
Michael K. Williams (Omar on The Wire and Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire) and me [and Blake in that one photo] at Marvel HQ in NYC! I posted tons more photos on my marvel.com blog! MKW was so nice, you guys!
Me and Benedict Cumberbatch and Steven Moffat at Marvel HQ in NYC. NBD.
Our This Week in Marvel podcast with Benedict and Steven will be live on May 22!
Last week, I gave a tour of Marvel HQ to Danny Pudi, who plays Abed on Community. We then recorded an episode of our This Week in Marvel podcast with him. Let me tell you, that Danny Pudi fella is SUPER DUPER nice and crazy funny and generally all kinds of awesome. It was super fun having him here. And in the photos above, you can see me showing Danny my absolute favorite piece of art hanging up in the Marvel NYC offices.
Most photos by Judy Stephens.
I totally goofed and forgot to post the photos of me with Community star Yvette Nicole Brown. She popped by the Marvel booth at WonderCon and was RIDICULOUSLY nice.
U jelly of my ridiculous and awesome Stan Lee t-shirt? (Taken with instagram)
It appears I’m sitting in the blacklight section at the @faulkdetectives show.
