If they went to put Captain Solo in carbonite but they opened the chamber and it was full of dirty plates and cutlery and Vader said ‘Ohhh. My nan came over yesterday and I hadn’t washed up or anything, so. Sorry. Meant to sort those out’ and stood there for a moment and everyone just looked at him, then at the dirty dishes chamber and Vader rocked on his feet a little bit and made a nervous sort of ‘pfp-pfp-pfp’ noise, I don’t think that would have really added to the movie at all.
