I scored this incredibly cool Lady Deadpool mini bust from Gentle Giant. We only started working with GG in the last year or so, but their stuff is TOP. NOTCH.

I worked with some rad dudes at Dark Horse Comics to put together a cool behind-the-scenes featurette on Marvel.com detailing their process for making the brand new Amazing Spider-Man statue from Dark Horse Deluxe.
The statue should be in comic shops now for about $50.

This new Psylocke statue from Sideshow Collectibles is lovely.
Badass, massive Dragon statue at Bethesda’s E3 booth. The dragon is from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I sat in a really long demo for the game during E3 and realized that was staring at the screen with my jaw wide open for more than a few minutes at a time. Before E3, I was interested in Skyrim. After E3, I’d count it as one of my most anticipated games of 2011. My only concern is how much time I’ll want and have to put into it—it’s going to be a GIGANTIC game.
Oh, and I kinda felt bad when, in the demo, a few dragons were killed. Weird, right?
The folks at Triforce create some really really REALLY awesome gaming statues, props, replicas and special edition items. They’ve done a ton of Gears of War stuff, including this Marcus statue, which was on display at E3. I talked to the folks who own the company, one of whom is a friend who I used to work at Wizard with, and they explained how detailed and lifelike the hair, eyes and skin is on the statue. Really cool.
TriForce also makes lancer replicas and Mass Effect weapon replicas. If I was rich, I’d have some of their stuff.
Sideshow’s Emma Frost legendary scale bust is somethin’ else.
Got my copy of Pop Sculpture, a really fantastic book on creating action figures and statues. I’d recommend the hell out of it even if my friend Zach Oat hadn’t worked his tail off on the book.

Another unboxing video I shot for Marvel.com. It’s a Doctor Doom statue with a light up base and two faces and AH SO MUCH AWESOME. Also, there’s a cameo by artist Mark Brooks and one of the commenters on our YouTube channel noticed my Insane Clown Posse reference. Good times.

After visiting the Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark set on Broadway today, I came back to my Marvel office to find four giant boxes full of magical magicness. They contain awesome stuff from Hasbro, Sideshow Collectibles and Kotobukiya. Looks like it’s time to film some new unboxing videos!
